In 1960, Psycho-Cybernetics: A New Way to Get More Living out of Life was first published by Prentice-Hall and appeared in a pocket book edition by 1969.本書都將Psycho-Cybernetics 翻譯成【電腦心理學】，錯誤。Cybernetics 現在中國定譯為"控制學/控制論" (這是學術用語，與一般的"控制"不同)，以前台灣也有人/書翻譯成"模控學"。Psycho-Cybernetics 直譯【心理-控制論】---這本書名最好用原副標題【讓生命更有意義的新方法】。
